Extended Primary Care Surgery

• No Scalpel Vasectomy – a keyhole operation less painful
  than conventional vasectomy
• Carpal Tunnel Operation – an operation to relieve
  pins and needles in the hand by releasing a trapped nerve.
• Cosmetic Operations – removal of lumps, moles and blemishes

• District Nursing Service—01922 605750 You can ring the DN and leave a message stating clearly your contact number, name, address and reason for the request.
• Primary Care Mental Health Services. 01922 608400. You can self refer to this service for Anxiety, Depression, Bulimia etc.
• Physiotherapy. 0121 568 4388. This is a self book service, but has to be referred by the doctor/nurse
• Chiropody 01922 423525— This service is available to patients that suffer with problems in their feet.

• Walking aid – walking stick. Frame etc—ask for a physiotherapy referral
• Wheel chairs—loan of wheelchair, ask for referral (Tel 01922 638294)
• Splints , hand knee ankle splints for support in painful arthritis—ask for Occupational Therapy referral
• Carers Support– Via Social services—ring 01922 636663
• Multi Disciplinary Team – can help with multiple long term conditions
• Weight Management Support – specialist diet and exercise advice
• Smoking Cessation – Support in quitting smoking
